Never meant to be part of the recorded tracks, Ring found it's way onto the album when we were left with only a couple minutes on our second reel. Instead of having Casey play another instrumental to fill the tape, bassist Rob Spahr suggested this tune may be short enough to squeeze in. We played through it once to check and what you hear on the album is the first take after that run through with just enough tape to make it work.
